Role Summary
A Busser at Vandelay Hospitality Group is responsible for providing support to servers and ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and ready for guests. The Busser plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining a high level of hospitality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism with each team member and guest
Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a seamless dining experience
Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, tables, and chairs
Restock dining room supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments
Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service
Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Handle guest requests and inquiries with the utmost respect and hospitality
Attend Food, Wine, and Team training opportunities
Requirements
1+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred
Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask
Positive attitude, a sense of responsibility, and ownership of the position
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Punctuality and reliability are essential
