Description

Our US Merchandising Team is looking for an Associate Planner to execute all allocations and in season management strategies for Apparel, Footwear and Licensed categories in our US & CA region. Our ideal candidate will be able to analyze current sales trends and implement into allocation strategies at a store and style/size level for both boutiques & ecommerce business in both markets.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       Develop and execute seasonal allocation strategies based on sales, store and product performance

·       Own in season stock models at a door, style and size level

·       Conduct size selling analysis, and integrate result into size planning for allocation and purchasing decisions

·       Communicate with stores regarding product needs and inventory levels

·       Recommend transfers and consolidation based on inventory levels 

 

Performance Requirements:

In Season –    

·       Own weekly selling, shipping, and replenishment reports

·       Analyze sales unit performance reports, and incorporate the results into future allocation strategies

·       Analyze store-level inventory productivity (WOS, T/O) and recommend transfers & consolidations as appropriate

·       Review builds weekly to ensure we have the appropriate stock levels by door by style and size

·       Track inbound-to-warehouse receipts and communicate with cross functional partners for timely decision making  

·       Read and react to store feedback daily / weekly as appropriate

·       Analyze historical promotional selling and recommend inventory strategy while aligning with sales forecast during the SAS period

 

Pre-Season –

·       Conduct size selling analysis, and integrate results into size planning for allocation

·       Partner with buying team to incorporate store feedback into size planning as appropriate  

 

 

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree required; 2-3 years of buying and/or planning experience

·       Knowledge in Retail Math

·       Demonstrate logical analysis and problem-solving skills

·       Self-starter and detail oriented, with strong written and verbal skills

·       Resourceful, hands-on, and able to sense urgency

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; intermediate and/or advanced a plus
