IT Solutions Manager


Description

Reporting to the Norcam IT Director, the IT Solutions Manager will lead a team to support and manage Lacoste’s primary core IT back-office applications. The main functions of the role will include supporting business process configuration, data loads, error analysis, integration, documentation, support, and end-user training.  The position will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day support of core IT solutions on operations, including short and long-term project planning and implementation of global roadmap projects.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


As a vital member of the North America IT organization, the position will be responsible for advancing Lacoste’s IT roadmap. Including responsibilities in these main pillars:


-IT Systems as a Value Enabler

  • Pilot and manage projects from the defined global and local roadmap
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, project reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Maintain and improve upon a service-oriented, customer-focused IT function that supports ongoing operations that drive efficiency, quality, customer service, and growth.

-Innovation and Digital Oriented

  • Develop agile skills within the team
  • Work on projects that accelerate e-commerce initiatives
  • Foster and encourage the use of essential software, hardware and cloud platforms that are leaders in their class
  • Work to develop best in class retail customer experience by implementation

-User Focus and Efficient IT Services

  • Responsible for keeping users as a top priority for all IT systems/applications
  • Develop, align and communicate service levels to our end-users
  • Assist in identifying, reproducing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various project development and delivery stages.

-IT excellence

  • Strive to build best in class IT teams
  • Develop project management skills throughout the team
  • IT systems, processes, and support teams have one goal: to generate resources for the growth of the business.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Management of Projects via global project management software
  • Establish knowledge repository
  • Collaborate with the local and corporate team in identifying, planning, developing, and implementing systems that will support the company’s defined roadmap.
  • Engage with business partners, influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions, and prioritize competing business demands.
  • Report team activities to leading team and anticipate resources shortage for the upcoming tasks
  • Create an environment of team spirit and enthusiasm around what is being delivered
  • Continue to proactively identify business opportunities/solutions, introducing innovative technologies wherever it is possible


REQUIREMENTS:


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree, Business Management degree is preferred or equivalent experience for the role.

  

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of business and system analysis experience, preferably in the fashion retail industry
  • 2 years of experience in management (or functional management)
  • Functional knowledge of ERP core business processes (e.g. order management, distribution/fulfillment, invoicing, customers, procurement, inventory, HR, financial reporting, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases.
  • Must be available to work off-hours to support project activities and deployments occasionally.


SKILLS

  • Experience in planning and project management scopes. Analyzing length, difficulty and costs of projects. Ability to be able to break down work into process steps. Develop a schedule and assign resources to tasks. The ideal candidate will have the ability to anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks. Measure performance and evaluate resource needs. Engage stakeholders periodically to provide them with the progress of execution.
  • Other hard skills that would be pluses: Prior use of reporting tools, SQL, knowledge of working in ERP and supporting supply chain processes
