Digital Wholesale Assistant


Description

This position provides support to the Digital Account Manager to successfully achieve and surpass the sales and profit objectives of the digital wholesale team. This individual will assist the AM during all sales campaigns, and daily tasks to drive the business, and will be a key support contact for e-commerce wholesale accounts. This role requires a self-starter, with strong problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

 

Sales Support:

  • Responsible for assisting in hitting monthly shipping goals
  • Develop close working relationships with the operations and customer service team to track and maintain POs to ensure they are shipped on time and in full; Be able to communicate monthly shipping status to AM
  • Communicate on a daily basis with buying office counterparts on matters relating to PO confirmations; shipping status and sales
  • Aid in identifying swap and chase opportunities in season to ensure shipping budget is met
  • Analyze weekly and monthly selling reports and be prepared to offer suggestions based on customer need and availability.
  • Coordinate sample distribution to and from accounts.

 

Digital Support

  • Walk the site of Digital Wholesale partners on a weekly basis to ensure a consistent customer experience and identify content opportunities
  • Responsible for all on-site copy and product attributes, providing digital wholesale partners completing attribute templates and providing digital wholesale partners with all data as needed.
  • Aid Account Manager in execution of digital advertising campaigns and digital marketing activations.

 

Market Preparation

  • Assist with showroom set ups, and breakdowns and become familiar with the showroom and product (groups, colors, prices)
  • Maintain organization of sample closets, and log all samples sent out of the showroom to customers and trade shows.
  • Assist AM in putting market prep packs together for buyer including line sheets, CADS and seasonal selling.

·       Assist AM post market to organize notes and buy updates, and prepare orders for order entry.

  • Work in conjunction with the Account Manager during market appointments and provide presentation support.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year wholesale, e-commerce or other similar retail experience required.
  • Amazon experience is a plus.
  • Excel proficiency required. Word, Outlook, Salesforce, NuOrder experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed, as well as the ability to form interpersonal relationships
  • Must be able to multi-task, pay great attention to detail, and exhibit strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Individual must be outgoing, well organized, and passionate about product and selling.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • College Degree required.
