Description

This position is responsible for the selling of Lacoste product lines to a select list of department store accounts in the U.S. and the service and management of those accounts.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  •  Develop and execute sales plans.
  • Present menswear line to buyers.
  • Manage profitability of accounts (discounts, returns, charge backs)
  • Identify sales opportunities
  • Coordinate with marketing, visual, and merchandising departments to ensure that the Lacoste image is properly presented and maximize sales performance.
  • Analyze and react to selling information by account.
  • Conduct product seminars as necessary.
  • Visit accounts to ensure Lacoste standards are being met.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with major department store selling better men’s collections.
  • Proven track record of sales and prior strong relationship with buyers.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint).  Must be able to compile large volumes of data on a spreadsheet with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • College degree preferred.
