We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our highly skilled kitchen brigade.  As Breakfast Chef you will play a pivotal role in the guests dining experience taking the lead and delivering high quality breakfasts using fresh locally sourced produce.  The ideal candidate should be reliable and have previous experienced in a similar role at Michelin or high Rosette level.

What you’ll be doing

 

●        Preparing all breakfasts to a high standard for our hotel guests 

●        Assisting in the daily preparation of MEP for breakfast and lunch

●        Ensuring stock within the business is managed to the agreed levels consistently and professionally, in  conjunction with the Head Chef

●        Liaising closely with the breakfast supervisor to ensure a smooth breakfast service

●        Ensuring temperatures are taken in accordance with Food Policy

●        Keen, enthusiastic, well presented and has a sense of urgency

●        Have a passion for food and the hospitality industry

●        Ability to work unsupervised 

●        A team player who communicates well with all colleagues

●        Has their own transport

-          Situated in the heart of Devon, Lympstone Manor sits between Exeter and Exmouth and overlooks the Exe Estuary. Our address             is Lympstone Manor, Courtlands Lane, Exmouth, EX8 3NZ.

 

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?

-          You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at                             Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.

 

Do I need the right to work in the UK?

-          In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.             As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.

 

Do you provide employee accommodation?

-         The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation, in order to help the newest members of the team re-locate                            and settle in.
