We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a Chef de Partie who has a passion for food and cooking to learn new skills.  As Chef de Partie, you will contribute to the effective running of the kitchen by leading a section, helping to ensure the exceptional standards and reputation.

What you’ll be doing

  • To ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
  • Working in a timely manner whilst maintaining the high end food 
  • To ensure that your section is being kept clean and tidy at all times
  • To be fully aware of all Health and Safety policy and procedures relevant to your role and department
  • To ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity

Who we’re looking for

  • Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen as a Chef de Partie
  • High standards of cleanliness, stock control and task prioritisation
  • True team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way
  • Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury property
  • Have a thorough understanding of health and safety and food safety guidelines

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?

-          You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.

Do I need the right to work in the UK?

-          In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.
