We are currently recruiting for Meetings and Events Head Waiter/ess to join The Londoner and its standout Meetings and Events operations team. 

 Overview: 

  • Lead and supervise a team of Waiters and Event Servers during meetings and events.
  • Ensure all functions are delivered in line with the hotel's luxury service standards.
  • Brief team members before service, allocating duties and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Maintain exceptional guest engagement and respond promptly to requests and feedback.
  • Oversee the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events and banqueting functions.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor service quality, presentation standards, and guest satisfaction throughout events.
  • Assist with training and coaching team members to enhance performance and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Support managers with stock control, equipment management, and operational administration as required.

About You: 

  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, Banqueting Supervisor, or similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end events venue.
  • Strong understanding of Meetings & Events and Banqueting Operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the business.
