About the Role

Join us at Fantasy Island Resort, Lincolnshire's leading family theme park. Our resort is home to over 30 exciting rides and attractions, live entertainment, and Europe's largest 7-day market, spread across more than 40 acres. Alongside the main attraction, we also operate caravan parks and a modern short-stay holiday park with luxury lodges.

As an Arcade Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing arcade machines and bowling equipment across our sites. This role is essential in ensuring our machines remain safe, reliable, and fully operational, helping to deliver a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Principal Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance on arcade machines and bowling equipment, including cleaning, inspection, and replacement of worn components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, replacing faulty parts and testing equipment to ensure correct operation.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and reduce machine downtime.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations, addressing hazards or concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections as required.
• Support the wider team in ensuring the arcade and bowling areas remain operational, safe, and presentable.

• Reliable, methodical, and able to work independently.
• Confident in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Well organised, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A team player who takes pride in keeping equipment running smoothly.

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in arcade machine maintenance or a related engineering or technical role is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation.
• Familiarity with a range of arcade machines and gaming systems is desirable.
