Lead with Passion – Become Bettola's Next Restaurant Manager

Bring your leadership, hospitality skills, and love of great food to Bettola, San Francisco’s celebrated Italian restaurant. We’re seeking a Restaurant Manager to run smooth, successful shifts, inspire our team, and deliver memorable guest experiences—all while ensuring compliance with California labor and safety laws.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Schedule, forecast, and adjust staffing levels according to business needs, ensuring compliance with CA/SF scheduling and break laws.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new hires; submit all required hiring documentation within three business days.
- Oversee reservations, guest notes, and events via OpenTable; handle calls, voicemails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Engage with guests during service to build relationships and address concerns professionally.
- Manage beverage program ordering, cost control, staff education, and monthly inventory.
- Support staff during service as needed (greeting guests, running food/drinks, bussing tables, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with state and local health codes.
- Implement menu updates, POS changes, and communicate effectively with staff.
- Monitor property upkeep and coordinate repairs or maintenance needs.
- Respond to guest reviews (positive and negative) in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage daily cash handling for bar and server banks.
Qualifications- 2+ years’ experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of California labor laws and food safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with restaurant softwares (i.e Toast, OpenTable, Tripleseat, Seven Rooms, Online Ordering Platforms preferred).
