Following many wonderful years of excitement and success, the team behind Rhode Island’s well regarded Basta Restaurant decided to embark upon a new journey to carry the knowledge and practices we cultivated in BASTA’s high-end atmosphere to a whole new style of restaurant. We discovered and immediately fell in love with the Auburn/Rolfe Square section of Cranston - we felt that the neighborhood was being underserved by the culinary community, and we saw a great spirit in the people we were meeting in the streets. We considered several different styles of concept and ultimately saw a big opportunity in injecting some love into the old-school pizza parlor concept we all grew up with. From there the rest is history.
