Position Summary

The Private Dining and Special Events Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of private dining and special events, from planning to execution. This role involves coordinating with clients, overseeing event logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. The coordinator will also collaborate with internal teams to align events with the values and standards of Noble Food & Pursuits.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of private dining and special events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, menus, and staffing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and FOH teams to coordinate food and beverage service.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Supervise event staff, providing training and support to maintain service standards.
  • Conduct site visits and pre-event meetings to confirm all details and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations during events.
  • Address client concerns or issues during events with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide post-event reports to leadership.
  • Assist in marketing and sales efforts to promote private dining and special event offerings.

 Additional Skills and Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in event planning or hospitality management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in event management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Flexibility with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks
  • May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally crouch and climb.
  • Working in an environment that may be exposed to hazardous equipment and situations and conditions that produce cuts or minor burns
  • Exposed to hot and cold temperatures, such as when working near ovens or retrieving food from freezers
  • Ability to be exposed to common allergens and unique ingredients
