Pastry Chef de Partie – Pillar Hall, Kensington Olympia, London
D3 Collective has just launched our second venue at the iconic Olympia London, and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team from end of June'26.
Located in the stunning Grade II listed Pillar Hall*, Idalia serves a menu focused on exceptional British produce.
The Role
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will support the pastry team in delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods, ensuring consistency, creativity, and attention to detail at every stage.
You will play an important role in maintaining smooth kitchen operations, working collaboratively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to create an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Take ownership of the preparation and presentation of desserts, pastries, and baked goods within your section
· Consistently deliver high standards of quality, flavour, and presentation across all dishes
· Lead the day-to-day running of the pastry section during service, ensuring efficiency and organisation
· Oversee service across all periods, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner
· Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety, ensuring compliance at all times
· Manage stock levels within the section, placing orders and ensuring correct storage and rotation of ingredients
· Ensure all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications are followed accurately by the team
· Support, guide, and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment
· Communicate clearly and effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
· Take a proactive, hands-on approach during busy periods, leading by example
