The Role
We have incredibly ambitious growth plans, for which this role is vital. The Project Quantity Surveyor is responsible for working within the Property Team, to manage the costs associated with the new venue development programme from site identification, acquisition, through to completion and handover to the FM and Operations Team. The QS will assist through the build process and help manage design teams, contractors, suppliers and multiple external parties, to ensure venues are developed on budget and on time.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
3+ years of relevant post-qualification UK commercial experience; Contractor orientated skills an advantage.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline.
MRICS / MCIOB or pushing to achieve Chartership.
Leisure / Hospitality ‘fit-out’ experience an advantage.
Commercially and contractually aware of relevant project matters.
Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
A proven knowledge of the UK Construction industry and quantity surveying best practice and innovation.
Able to demonstrate working both independently and cohesively as part of an internal team and deliver results by prioritising workload.
Able to demonstrate working independently with external contractors, consultants and suppliers, of all levels.
Be professional with a keen attention to detail and an ability to be flexibility.
Be able to travel throughout the UK with occasional over-night trips.
