The Job

Reporting to the Property Design Director and working within the Property & Design Team, you will coordinate a team of 6-8 interior designers to manage and program all interior design related projects and ensure task owners follow best practice of process and deliver to deadlines.

This role will be key in providing the team with planning, process and delivery solutions in their goal of delivering new venue projects both the UK and internationally

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage collaborative relationships with all third party suppliers and contractors proactively ensuring that all key deliverables are met
  • Assist in planning workloads for the interior design team, diary management and booking meetings
  • Overseeing and managing other design team members, whilst assisting with resource scheduling on projects in collaboration with Property Design Director
  • Manage travel and hotel arrangements for interior design team where required
  • Manage studio budget for IT requirements, software, freelancers and suggestions and recommendations
  • Prepare and organise all necessary documents for Design meetings
  • Assist senior team with programming and tracking of design projects, ensuring effective communication across the wider team to meet deliverable dates
  • Monitoring and ensuring the maintenance of department databases such as Frontify and maintain locker system for all project folders.


 

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • 2+ years experience in similar role or design agency
  • Confident multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks and be highly organised
  • Positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude who is a motivated, practical thinker
  • Ability to manage own time and be results driven
  • Promote a collaborative and balanced working environment
  • Understanding of interior design and construction project processes desierable but not essential
  • Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to be discreet, confidential and reliable at all times.
  • Competent across multiple MS packages inc MS Teams & Sharepoint
  • Budget management
