The Job

Reporting directly to the Programme Director, the Senior PMO Manager will be responsible for clearly defining and maintaining our project management standards. You'll also work with various Project Managers to help plan multiple simultaneous projects, assign resources and assist in implementation.

Key responsbilities will include:

  • Reviewing and updating existing procedures and build new standard processes
  • Reviewing documentation for project creation, development and implementation
  • Ensuring projects align with business goals and providing insights to capture learnings
  • Project stacking, prioritisation to facilitate the distribution and allocation of resources effectively
  • Developing project plans and managing multiple projects
  • Setting deadlines and monitoring the progress of projects, deliverables, milestones and goals
  • Creating executive summaries showing project progress and creating reports 
  • Assisting with roadmaps & gap and critical path analysis
  • Reviewing completed projects to provide insights for future projects


To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience of establishing and running a business PMO
  • The ability to operate both at a senior macro / strategic level and the micro / detail level.
  • The ability to effectively plan resources and  allocate resources to multiple projects
  • The ability to analyse project and program strategies, risks, issues, actions and project inter-dependencies.
  • A Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential 
  • Extensive experience with platforms including the Microsoft suite, Planner, Project & Excel (with VBA).
  • Proven experience setting clear objectives, meeting deadlines, facilitating understanding and inspiring others
