With a total of 13 incredible venues throughout the UK, we have ambitious plans and are never standing still. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

The Job

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be working in the Red Engine Technology team, building the software to make our data accessible to the wider head office team.  You will design and implement data solutions and build the ETL infrastructure to integrate and consolidate multiple data sources into a coherent platform for the business.

As this is a new role for the business, you will be meeting with key stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement the solutions, and lead the development lifecycle.  Red Engine is proudly heading into a period of rapid growth and we expect this data team to grow with the company, so you will be comfortable with leading a team in the near future.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with the stakeholders to Design and Implement data solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Implementing data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems
• Managing relationships with external consultants, providing specifications and managing projects building ETL infrastructure
• Engineering, developing and optimising code to required ensure business processes support our growth
• Recruitment and on-boarding of other data engineers, and support them in their professional development
