The Job

Working with the Head of People  the Recruitment Manager will be working as an integral part of the People team responsible for sourcing and retaining amazing teams across both Red Engine and our Venues. You will be responsible for discovering and attracting talent, building a strong employment brand and developing great relationships to ensure that we remain spectacular. You will be an intuitive values-based people person with recruitment management experience in attraction, recruitment and induction, ideally with a background of working in fast paced, high growth organisations.  


Key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Alongside the Head of People, develop, implement and manage an efficient and industry leading recruitment management strategy
  • Collaborating with Department and Venue Managers to support their recruitment needs, build talent pools and manage team inductions
  • Using available job boards and recruitment platforms, pro-actively source candidates direct
  • Planning and conducting recruitment and selection processes (recruitment experience days, interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Managing recruitment for New Venue Openings
  • Continuously reviewing and update the Company's recruiting and hiring policies and procedures ensuring compliance to all relevant employment law in line with our DE&I policy.
  • Leading recruitment training across Red Engine and Venues and support and coach managers on appropriate interview techniques
  • Producing and analysing high-quality reports on recruitment activity and its effectiveness.
  • Negotiating with and managing agencies to provide timely and appropriate candidate details, both contract and permanent.
  • Reviewing the job descriptions to ensure they are still up to date and relevant for the role to be advertised.
  • Supporting on employment branding initiatives developing careers pages to always be spectacular promoting it across all internal and externally facing channels.
  • Continuously explore innovative and effective places to advertise and running recruitment campaigns that bring our brands to life.
  • Managing the ATS and its use across the Business
  • Establishing strong relationships with external stakeholders 


To be successful in this role, you’ll:

  • Have proven experience as a Recruitment manager with experience in full-cycle attraction, recruitment and understanding of employment branding
  • Understand attraction and selection methods and techniques including social media and job boards
  • Have working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases (we use Harri)
  • Be experienced partnering with function heads and venue managers to support their recruitment needs
  • Have experience of developing onboarding and best in class inductions
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
  • Have good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Be enthusiastic, a team player and confident 
  • Be able to work both independently and cohesively as part of a team 
  • Some experience of recruiting in the US market would be an advantage
  • Some experience of recruiting Hopitality Head Office roles would be an advantage
