The Job 

We are looking for a talented Junior Project Manager with experience or interest in document control to join our in-house team and manage an array of projects and workstreams for our two brands; Flight Club and Electric Shuffle. The ideal applicant will have great organisational abilities and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.

The role will be split into two main areas:

  • Project Management – Assisting the senior PMO manager in managing a number of projects, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring that the projects are aligned with business goals
  • Document Control - Assisting the Property Programme Director and Head of Construction with document control for a new venue building project.

  

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of project(s), including communication and management of the project team. 
  • Leading the projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints. 
  • Building project plans and applying appropriate delivery methodology, setting project controls and track and report against milestones. 
  • Creating project budgets and track project spend, ensuring it is within the approved budget. 
  • Identifying benefits, ensuring these are understood, measured, tracked, and owned, monitoring the longer-term delivery of benefits against the business case. 
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Implementing effective change management methods and documenting agreed-upon adjustments to project deliverables. 
  • Creation and maintenance of an organise and accessible project documentation database. 
  • Establishment of our document control procedure 
  • Coordination with the project team members to ensure that documents are approved and distributed in a timely manner. 
  • Identification of potential issues with project documentation and provide timely solutions. 
  • Working closely with construction project managers and other team members to support project objectives. 

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll:

  • Have a degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field.  
  • Ideally have project and budget management and document control experience from a previous role. 
  • Have strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. 
  • Demonstrate greatcommunicationand interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at alllevels. 
  • Have strong skills in Microsoft Office, in particularExcelandTeams 
  • Ideally have prior experience in a hospitality business
  • Be available to occasionally travel to UK based venues, for project purposes
