The Job 

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Digital Product Designer to help drive our digital product squads to design better interfaces, release faster, and improve the experience for everyone through quality. They will play a pivotal role, working in a cross-functional product squad.   

The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed, maximise conversion and deliver the roadmap through design by continuously improving the customer experience. Help drive research, understand the motivations and behaviours of our customers to design easy customer-focused products.  

 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • To build and maintain a design system of visual, reusable components and patterns that will allow the team to release high quality work efficiently and consistently
  • To create, own and manage the product Design Principles, Guidelines and Design System  
  • To lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders  
  • To provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure features launch at the highest quality  
  • To lead and evolve design practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and quality in delivery  
  • To present designs, prototypes and concepts to cross functional partners and stakeholders  
  • Lead and contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and stakeholders
  • To improve the booking processes, and website redesigns for Electric Shuffle and Flight Club

To be successful in this role, you’ll: 

  • Have visual design experience with expertise in typography, desktop/mobile UI, colour, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function 
  • Use appropriate prototyping tools such as Figma to demonstrate how a particular component, pattern or interaction will work 
  • Be an effective collaborator working in cross-functional teams to combine resources to achieve company-wide goals  
  • Have experience building, releasing and maintaining design systems that are broad in scope and span multiple platforms 
  • Have influence business-wide through effective communication, data proof points and successful persuasion to get impact and the best results 
  • Demonstrate innovative end-to-end thinking through customer advocacy to generate new ideas that meet customer needs 
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of engineering methods and desire for continuous learning. 
  • Be data-driven approach, confidently able to present research. 
  • Be experienced with several Design Thinking frameworks with demonstrated success of helping to ship and iterate.
