The Job 

The Business Systems Administrator plays a critical support role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of Red Engine’s systems. They are responsible for managing and updating business applications and third party systems, ensuring they are accurate, secure, reliable, and optimised for performance. This role may involve troubleshooting technical issues, implementing system upgrades, and collaborating with various departments to support their systems needs and where applicable, provide effective solutions. By maintaining robust and efficient systems, they help to support the Company’s overall goals and enhances productivity. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Stock/COGs Performance: 

  • Assist with stock-related issues, training sessions, and improvements

Product Development and Menu Management: 

  • Update food and drinks bibles in reference to product development
  • Collaborate with Ops/Product teams on drinks and food menus 
  • Update and maintain pricing and recipes

New Venue Openings: 

  • Manage & set up all accounts for new venue openings 
  • Configure equipment for new venues
  • Liaise with OPS and Zonal Account Manager on an ad hoc basis

Zonal Suite Management: 

  • Oversee general setup, daily functioning, theme panelling, product configuration, and promotions setup (ad hoc & permanent) 
  • Troubleshoot issues before referring to the Zonal Helpdesk
  • Manage the iOrder system for designated venues

Me&U App Management: 

  • Manage the Me&U App for existing and new venues
  • Perform ongoing system updates and upgrades, including product content setup and branded creative content
  • Liaise with OPS, Me&U support team, and Zonal Account Manager

Risk Proof Suite Management: 

  • Manage the Risk Proof suite for existing and new venue openings
  • Set up and update the Compliance Centre, including monitoring, audits, risk assessment, and registry section
  • Set up users per venue and role of responsibility

Safety Culture (IAuditor) Suite: 

  • Maintain and set up accounts for each venue
  • Manage user profiles, audits, and reporting (periodic and quarterly)

TrailApp System Management: 

  • Oversee all venue accounts
  • Set up new venue openings, maintain, create, amend, and publish checklists 
  • Manage user settings and reporting (weekly, periodic, and quarterly)
HGEM Hub Admin: 
  • Set up and update HGEM Hub for existing and new venue openings
  • Manage user access and reporting (periodic and quarterly)
Operational Systems and SOP Management: 
  • Ensure the configuration of all operational systems aligns with company data standards and reporting guidelines
  • Maintain key functionality to support reporting and BI functions
  • Update, share, and maintain key SOPs to ensure data accuracy in operational systems
  • Manage and update all new menus on DMN and lease with tech/marketing to ensure websites also updated. (This will include seasonal promotions such as lunch menus) 

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll:

  • Have strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Be an excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Have proficiency in managing various operational systems and applications
  • Have strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy 
  • Have previous experience working in the hospitality industry
  • Have experience installing and administering the Zonal POS System and the other named platforms
