Description

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to play a pivotal role in the pre-opening and launch of Sofitel Dublin Airport Hotel—a luxury flagship property managed by the award-winning Arora Group in partnership with Accor’s Sofitel brand.

Directly connected to Terminal 2, this landmark hotel will redefine the guest experience at one of Europe’s busiest international gateways and will feature:

  • 412 elegant guestrooms
  • Extensive meetings and events facilities
  • A spectacular rooftop bar with panoramic views across Dublin and the airport

The Role

Reservation Managers in our luxurious hotel ensure the reservations team maximises revenue opportunities through the execution of sales strategies while consistently providing warm, outstanding service and exceeding guests’ expectations when they get in touch. 

  • Lead the Reservations team, fostering team dynamics to ensure the team remains focused on meeting guests’ needs and brand standards. 
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication procedures enabling the operation to plan and deliver all guests requirements. 
  • Complete weekly and monthly forecasting. 
  • Ensure company’s credit policy is adhered to across the team and active involvement in the hotel credit meetings.
  • Develop team’s awareness of revenue capture, packages and accounting to enhance revenues and improve guest service. 
  • Train, develop and support the team to provide consistently high standards, while continually looking to improve. 
  • Duty Manager shifts.

  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and drive to maintain high standards. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. 
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing teams. 
  • Approachable and positive manner with a “can do” attitude. 
  • A smart and professional appearance. 
  • Proven track record in a similar position within a 5-star hotel. 
  • Good working knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
