Position Summary:   Provide warm personalized service, while demonstrating leadership and teamwork to all Team Members. Must take payments. Seat and great guests. Take to go orders and see them completed. Prepare grab n go orders as well. Maintain a neat and atmospheric dining room.

 1.      Establish accurate and proper cash handling procedures, using cash bank, cash register, and cash drop.

2.      Communicate and promote co-worker and Guest relations, maintain professionalism while working with restaurant team.

3.      Knowledge of various all work related equipment like cash register and know how to take and complete to go orders.

Essential Functions:

1.                  Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Company-wide culture and demonstrating the Company’s Service Standards at all times.

2.                  Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects the Company’s best practices.

3.                  Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to the Company’s policies. 


4.                  Handle any Team Member or Guest opportunities to the best possible outcome.

5.                  Follow set schedules and specific job duties.

6.                  Treat each Team Member with care, dignity, fairness, and respect in a Best Practice manner.

7.                  Display and encourage teamwork in the department.

8.                  Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by the Director of Food and Beverage and the Food and Beverage Manager.

9.                  Attend any Team Member meetings and look at the communication boards for pertinent information.

Physical Requirements:

1.      Be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 4 hours. Requires the physical ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, stoop, reach above the shoulders, grasp, pull and bend repeatedly with or without assistance.

2.      Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

3.      When necessary, deliver all food items in a timely and accurate fashion. The Team Member will always use the proper seat and table numbers when delivering food. Food will not be "auctioned" off to any guests. All food will be delivered to the guest from the left hand side using the left hand unless it is liquid, i.e. soups, which are delivered from the right hand side using the right hand. Each menu item will be placed in front of the guest with the main item at the six o'clock position. Team Member will announce the menu item when placing it in front of guest. Always use a napkin splashguard when pouring beverages at the table

4.      Remove debris from the floor as required or necessary

5.      Monitor booth seats and chairs for crumbs to ensure cleanliness

6.      Once Guests have left the restaurant, reset table according to the restaurant service standards

7.      Observe and anticipate Guest's needs. Help Server keep table clear of refuse and debris and refilling beverages throughout the meal.

8.      Responsible with taking Bar orders and delivering them. If cashier is under 21 they must get a person of age to take the order.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision.

2.      Ability to communicate effectively with Guest(s), co-workers and management, in English, both in written and verbal form.

3.      Ability to make quick judgment decisions.

4.      Requires adherence to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all the Company’s Practices.

5.      Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.

6.      Ability to work with the desired level of detailed service and attentiveness.

10.  Excellent organizational skills.

11.  Must possess strong teamwork skills as well as to act independently in high-energy,  

       diverse environment.

12. Always keep all current required work cards on your person during your shift

RELATED DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Working closely with beverage team, slots, security, and food and gaming departments.

2.      Prior experience in this position is preferred but not required

3.      Speaking, visualizing and listening to Guests are an extremely important part of the Cashier’s service job description.
