Sous Chef

On Target Earnings £  16 - 17 * per hour (£40,000 - £42,000 per annum, Including TRONC) *

At Heartwood Collection, we’re on the lookout for passionate and vibrant individuals to join our kitchen team as a Sous Chef

The George & Dragon is a historic inn located in Marlow’s bustling town centre. The refurbishment will see its 17 rooms transformed into boutique bedrooms that reflect the town’s history and location on the River Thames. They will be infused with Heartwood’s signature warm, welcoming style with 200 internal covers in the spacious bar and dining room and a further 50 external covers.

About You:

• Have a proven track record in running service from the line, fresh food cuisine and delivering training and support to chefs
• Able to work on and run any sections in the kitchen team, demonstrate leadership skills and assist the head chef
• 3-4 years experience in a Sous Chef role or similar, preferably with exposure to branded operations and a basic understanding of administration operations
