The Barista/Tea Server is responsible for crafting exceptional beverages and desserts while delivering warm, memorable customer experiences.
This role blends coffee and tea expertise with hands-on dessert preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, specialty teas, and handcrafted beverages
- Create and plate desserts according to recipes and presentation standards
- Educate customers on tea varieties, brewing methods, and flavor pairings
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization of workstations
- Manage ingredients, restocking, and basic prep tasks
- Provide friendly, efficient service and handle transactions accurately
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of high school education
- At least one year of continuous experience as a barista or tea specialist is required
- Knowledge of basic dessert preparation techniques is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety certification a plus
