Our Market is a required destination for the foodie in all of us!  We showcase culinary goodies along with unique gifts for the home.  We are located in Capers & Lemons Italian Restaurant and provide freshly made products right from our kitchen!

A Platinum Dining Group Market Assistant is an ambassador for our restaurant. The Market Assistant will be an expert at welcoming our guests into our fine-goods retail Market with warmth, enthusiasm, and grace ensuring superior customer satisfaction.  He/She will promote our products and services to customers. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Gives the initial impression of the Market to the customers and greet them with pleasantness

• Actively engage with the customers to identify needs

• Answer general questions in person and by phone

• Stimulate and promote interest in our products 

• Maintains a base knowledge and understanding of products offered 

• Is organized with taking and delivering to-go orders to customers

• Maintains a neat and organized facility
  

• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

• Enjoys providing great hospitality

Qualifications:

• Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence

• 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  

• Positive attitude and high energy

• Excellent listening and communication skills

• Team player who looks for ways to assist other employees when needed

• Self-motivated and outgoing personality

• Polite demeanor with the ability to drive the conversation

• Strong organizational skills

• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
