Your Responsibilities:· Lead the culinary execution of private events, member events, restaurant buyouts, and special programming
· Work closely with culinary leadership and operations teams to plan event food offerings in a way that aligns with Le Jardinier and its events space, Sereine standards and capabilities
· Support the development and adaptation of event menus based on event format, guest count, timing, and operational needs
· Review all event details in advance and ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for execution
· Translate event needs into clear prep plans, production timelines, and staffing requirements
· Coordinate with the Events team, service leaders, and culinary leadership to ensure full alignment on menus, timing, setup, and special requests
· Ensure all event mise en place, prep, and production are organized and completed on time
· Lead event culinary execution during service, ensuring quality, consistency, presentation, and timing are maintained throughout
· Manage event-related food production while protecting the quality and flow of regular restaurant service
· Oversee plating, pass coordination, and event food presentation standards
· Communicate clearly with FOH and event leaders throughout execution to ensure smooth service flow
· Help manage event food cost awareness through proper planning, ordering, and production discipline
· Review event-specific ordering needs and coordinate with the appropriate team members to ensure all products are available
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in all event-related culinary operations
· Support post-event review of execution, opportunities, and adjustments for future improvement
· Assist in building systems, organization, and standards around event culinary execution as the business grows
Your Qualifications:· 3+ years of culinary leadership experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, hotels, private clubs, or high-end events/catering
· Strong understanding of high-level food execution in both à la carte and event environments
· Ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining quality and composure under pressure
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Clear communicator who works well cross-functionally with service, events, and leadership teams
· Solid understanding of prep planning, staffing needs, and kitchen organization for events
· Commitment to presentation, consistency, and guest experience
· Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
