Description

Mountain, the celebrated restaurant by Tomos Parry and the team behind Brat, is located in a historic building on a classic Soho street. Our atmospheric wood grill and wine bar draws inspiration from the ‘sea and hillside’ cooking of Catalonia and the rich Welsh terroir, offering plates of seafood from the plancha and long lunches reminiscent of vineyard dining with our favourite winemakers.

As we enter our second year, we are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our leadership team and support in driving our continued growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience at Senior Sous or Head Chef level within a similar role in a busy London/city restaurant.
  • Proven track record in recruiting, developing, and leading a large team.
  • Be adept at managing high-volume services with a calm presence while delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining attention to detail, the highest standards, team culture and atmosphere.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is looking for a new challenge in a nurturing and high performing restaurant team, already renowned for their familial approach and informal delivery of high-quality hospitality. If you are passionate about produce, service, and leadership, with a sound knowledge of the London food scene and marketplace we would love to hear from you.

As part of Super 8 our teams have access to a wide range of benefits and opportunities across the company.

  • 50% staff discount across the group along with intercompany discount from a selection of London restaurants.
  • Through close relationships with our suppliers, all of our teams have the opportunity to take part in our annual wine harvests, learning and cooking trips to the farms we work with.
  • Opportunity to work closely with our suppliers and talented people in the industry to deliver innovative and exciting collaborations and events.
  • Access to full training and development both in house and working alongside our external training partners in areas such as Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Management development and coaching, Food Safety, Health and Safety and Wine training.
  • Employee referral programme; £500 reward.
